Leading up to the centenary celebration of the founding of the Anthroposophical Society (1923 – 2023), Linoia Pullen has compiled a book sharing the verse, with some additions of rarely seen photographs and contributions from members of the Anthroposophical Society of Southern Africa.
To compliment the release of this book, join the Johannesburg Anthroposophical Society for a 7 week series of online discussions, as they explore Rudolf Steiner’s Foundation Stone verse, using Pullen’s book as a springboard.
Telana Simpson (Secretary of ASJ) will be hosting alongside Linoia Pullen, as they interview guests each week on different topics and aspects of the Foundation Stone, and then open for questions.
Some of the guests will include:
- Michaƫl Merle about his translation of the verse, and different translations in general.
- Estelle Bryer, as she recalls the impact of Dr F W Zylmans’ van Emmichoven on Anthroposophy in South Africa
- Cyril Coetzee about his drawing ‘At the foot of the World Cross’ which explores the connection of the verse to the Philosopher’s Stone.
- Wendy Lilje, and
- Martin Wigand.
