TALK: The difference between an Animal, a Plant, a Rock, and Man is his Ego

Want to know why…?

There is nothing wrong with Darwin’s theory of evolution, but its only half the story. The Science of the Spirit (Anthroposophy) stretches far further in time, to reveal a history of Man that stretches further back, while at the same time unveils a future inexorably moving towards humanity that only the courage and confidence of pure thinking can gauge and grasp.

The above broad outline is the gist of the talk that will be given by Anthony Higgins. His talk will cover the journey and riddle of Man, who is the first thought in the activity of the Divine – Spiritual world, and yet is the last realised, physically on this Earth. (The rocks, plants and animals preceeded him physically, but they came out of him before he appeared himself).

Anthony’s talk will assist in showing that the ultimate riddle of our universe is Man himself and his growing conscious participation with the divine-spiritual, and the Holy Trinity above them. This is the Deus ex machina, so called, that which maps out both the metamorphosis and purpose of humanity itself in the order and purpose of everything that can be thought about and thought through.

Einstein said of his work that whenever he was busy with his theoretical physics, he “could see God thinking”. Anthony’s talk is centred on the opinion that humanity itself can create this certainty with soul and spirit, as it continues to be guided by spiritual wisdom and love, as it is introduced and outlined in Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophy.
